My research is focused on studying the role of inflammatory pathways in hematologic cancers, bone marrow transplant, and consequent chronic comorbidities. I am particularly interested in identifying and studying molecular biomarkers that would aid early detection of patients at risk for chronic complications of hematologic malignancies bearing in mind the challenges encountered in its clinical application.
