Research description
My work focuses on liver research, especially patients with cirrhosis and progression to Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) while using biomarkers to predict when progression will occur. My preventative research specializes in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and alcoholic hepatitis focused on preventing progression to cirrhosis and ultimately hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
