Virginia Cancer Institute

Established in 1981, Virginia Cancer Institute is dedicated to the treatment of cancer and blood disorders in Central Virginia. They offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic, therapeutic and treatment services, in seven convenient locations.  With their recent expansion into the tri-cities area, their team now includes 20 physicians and 6 nurse practitioners to meet there patients’ needs.  The research department at VCI allows them to offer patients state of the art treatment on clinical trials that cover multiple disease sites. Virginia Cancer Institute joined the Massey Clinical Research Affiliation Network in 2013. As part of the MU-NCORP, Shenandoah Oncology offers NCI cancer clinical trials to their patients.
